The Ogyen Choling Heritage House, opened in 2016, is an ideal retreat for guests interested in Bhutan's history and culture. Built in 1898, the Ogyen Choling manor house has historical roots dating back to the 14th century. In 2001, its central tower was transformed into Bhutan's first private museum. This historic site offers a serene spiritual atmosphere and seclusion away from the usual tourist paths. Additionally, Ogyen Choling serves as a starting point for various day hikes, allowing guests to explore the unique surroundings.

Conscious efforts have been made to blend the original ambiance of the rooms with modern facilities, to offer the best possible comfort for the visitor. Each room is unique, cozy and simply furnished. Each room has at least one piece of antique furniture. Some rooms have individual heating facilities with wood burning stoves (bukhari), others have electric heaters. All the rooms have attached toilets and showers.
