Our Shangri-La trip takes you along old pilgrimage routes to the Tiger's Nest Monastery. This 16-day hiking and cultural trip in Bhutan shows you the most beautiful places in the country, far away from the main tourist routes.

From Paro you will reach the magical valleys of Bumthang, where you will spend the night in a historic heritage house in the Tang Valley. Experience two colorful festivals there and immerse yourself in a world full of myths and demons. A special puja in a nunnery and impressive hikes will let you become one with the untouched nature of Bhutan.

The crowning conclusion of the trip is the climb on the old pilgrimage route to the Bumdrag Monastery. Spend the night in a luxurious tent camp under the starry sky before the path leads to the Taktshang Monastery, the legendary Tiger's Nest. This trip through Bhutan is a feast for the senses and balm for body and soul. Bhutan, the last Shangri-La, awaits you with an incomparable magic.
