...with children and grandchildren to Bhutan

We have a lot of experience with family trips and trips with children who want to visit Bhutan. In some cases we get discounts from the government for children, schoolchildren and students. Talk to us about your individual wishes - we will be happy to create an offer for your family trip tailored to your needs.

The Bhutan travel experience for the whole family

Activities such as easy trekking with horses, easy hikes, rafting, mountain bike tours and visits to Bhutanese families who also have children are possible. Visiting monasteries with young monks and the cultural exchange are also very exciting...

Flexible on-site care on a Bhutan trip with children

We also offer you flexible on-site care in Bhutan - so you and your family can decide directly in Bhutan what you want to do. For example, you can rent an apartment or homestay and go on excursions - a driver and guide are always available.

Do I need a visa for Bhutan?

Yes, you need a visa for Bhutan. It is issued by the Tourism Authority of Bhutan. As an official tour operator, we take care of this and will send you the Bhutan visa via email approximately 2 weeks before the start of your trip.

When is the best time to visit Bhutan?

The best time to visit Bhutan is during the spring and autumn seasons (March to May and late September to December), when the weather is mild and visibility is clear. Winter months may be cool, especially in higher altitudes, and the monsoon season (June to August) may experience increased rainfall

How can I plan and book my Bhutan trip?

You can book your Bhutan trip through us - a registered tour operator. Travelers must arrange a prepaid trip with a licensed tour operator who handles the necessary formalities for the visa and SDF charges. We take care of all formalities.

What are the "SDF state charges" and how are they calculated?

SDF stands for "Sustainable Development Fee" and is a mandatory fee levied on foreign tourists in Bhutan. This fee contributes to financing education, health, and infrastructure projects in the country. The SDF fee is currently USD 100 per person per night. This fee is included in our tour price, and as a tour operator, we remit it to the government before the trip to Bhutan.

How do I get to Bhutan?

The usual way to get to Bhutan is by plane. Bhutan has an international airport, Paro International Airport. Selected airlines such as Druk Air (Royal Bhutan Airlines) or Bhutan Airlines offer direct flights to Paro from various cities such as Delhi (India), Kathmandu (Nepal), Mumbai (India), and Bangkok (Thailand). Alternatively, travelers can enter via Kolkata, Bagdogra, or Guwahati by road into western or eastern Bhutan or take flights from there to Paro. It is important to note that travel to Bhutan is only possible through registered tour operators, who must arrange all necessary visa and travel arrangements.
